Even with some not so stellar driving, the sights and sounds of powerful V8 muscle cars vying against one another at the drag strip are breathtaking. The Hemi V8 for passenger cars has been regretfully discontinued by
Dodge this year. While there have been speculations that the new Charger Daytona may have an available turbocharged inline-six hurricane engine, Dodge has only so far confirmed an electric drivetrain. Meanwhile, the
name seems to be dead as of right now, as Chevrolet has not released an update on the future of the Camaro.
Though we doubt any enthusiasts of muscle vehicles would be thrilled to see an electric SUV bearing the
Camaro brand, there are rumors that one may be in the works. Currently, the S650 Mustang is the sole new V8
American muscle car still being produced. We therefore suggest seeing the entire movie to see every Chevy vs. Dodge duel.
