The 340 cubic inch V8 that came standard with this Mopar generates 275 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque,

despite not having a 440 Six Pack or a 426 Hemi V8. It's noteworthy to note that this car's engine isn't the

original Chrysler 340 V8, supposedly from a 1970 Plymouth Cuda. Instead, it's a new engine. Nevertheless, Ryan and Seth confirmed

that the engine is original because the casting code on the transmission matches. Better even, the owner of the vehicle, Mitch, has the original 340 V8 with identical numbers sitting in Greg's

purchase. Should Mitch decide to dedicate a substantial amount of time and resources to a thorough Mopar

restoration, he will receive an invaluable Challenger. But both engines and the bodywork most likely require a complete rebuild.
